SHINGETSU makes kintsugi approachable for beginners by using modern adhesives and epoxy putty to simplify the repair process. Yet it stays true to one of the essential materials of traditional kintsugi, using genuine urushi lacquer rather than synthetic lacquer in the finishing process. This thoughtful combination makes it easier to begin while still giving you the experience of working with real urushi.
