Washing
UTO cashmere becomes softer and loftier with regular hand washing and wear, which is why we recommend caring for it at home. We hope you enjoy the unique qualities of this natural fiber and the pleasure of caring for your cashmere over time.

What you'll need: A mesh laundry bag, wool detergent, and fabric softener. Fabric softener is recommended to help restore a soft, fluffy feel.

Tips
・Wash only one piece at a time.
・Wash in cool water (below 86°F / 30°C).
・Do not use leftover bath water.
・Do not tumble dry. Tumble drying may damage the fibers and cause shrinkage.

Hand Washing
1. Fill a basin with cool water and add wool detergent.
Gently press the garment into the water to wash.
2. After rinsing, add fabric softener to fresh water and gently press the garment into the water.
3. After rinsing, use the washing machine's spin cycle to remove excess water. Do not wring the garment by hand, as this may cause creasing or stretching.
4. Shape into the original size, and air dry naturally in a flat, well-ventilated area in the shade.

Storage
Because cashmere is a natural protein fiber, it requires care to protect it from moisture, mildew, and insects. Store in a dry place and use a moth repellent according to the product’s instructions to help protect the garment from insects.

Pilling
Pilling occurs when fibers become tangled through repeated friction.

・After wearing, gently brush the garment and allow it to rest for a day or two before wearing it again.
・Do not pull pills from the fabric. Remove them carefully with scissors or a fabric shaver.

Ironing
Medium heat (284–320°F / 140–160°C)
Gently reshape the knit without pressing the iron directly onto the fabric. When steaming, hold the iron slightly above the fabric and move it gently without pressing down. Apply steam instead of ironing the knit directly.
