Care & Maintenance

The lid is crafted using the traditional Haneochi technique, a Japanese method used in tea kettles where metal is carefully hammered to create a natural, fractured pattern. Each lid is individually hammered, resulting in unique patterns that highlight the character of cast iron. This piece beautifully embodies Japanese traditional aesthetics. By centering the Haneochi pattern on the lid and partially covering the incense holder, it can also be used solely as an incense stand.
