Care & Maintenance

This Crinkle series transforms the familiar shape of a paper bag into elegant porcelain flower vases. Using plaster molds to capture even the finest textures of crumpled paper, each piece is crafted with remarkable precision in Seto, Japan.

Recognized for its innovative design, the series is part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, and continues to be sold in MoMA Design Stores worldwide. It is also held in the collections of renowned institutions such as the Faenza International Museum of Ceramics in Italy and the Victoria & Albert Museum in the UK.

Compact yet sculptural, Crinkle Vase #2 brings quiet elegance to any space—whether used as a vase for fresh or dried flowers, or as a decorative object on its own. Its subtle curves and distinctive silhouette create a refined statement in modern interiors.
